Ms. Scoles failed to aquire a signature from the defendant when he agreed to use an arbitrator who had arbitrated a previous case involving the defendant. Her failure allowed the defendant to appeal the matter all the way to the California Supreme Court. When it became apparent we could lose the appeal I stopped paying her. Ms. Scoles then tried to sue me but failed to notify us of our right to arbitration. Ms. Scoles lost her case against us. Another attorney helped us win the appeal.
