Vanessa A. Evangelista is an Associate in Selman Breitman's Los Angeles Office and is a Member of the firm's General Liability Practice Group. Vanessa represents public entities and individuals in third-party defense. Her cases involve municipality defense, premises liability, general negligence, product liability, automobile/rental car liability and breach of contract matters. Vanessa's clients include public entities, businesses and individuals in third-party litigation. She also has experience in defending general contractors and subcontractors of varying trades in disputes that involve complex construction defect issues.

Vanessa's extensive experience in General Liability provides her a unique ability to evaluate complex legal issues, investigate and defend claims, develop cases toward resolution, and prepare cases through trial. She works closely with clients, Claims Representatives, and Public Entities throughout the litigation, and provides them with her professional advice and input on the best litigation strategies for a case. Furthermore, Vanessa works closely with her public entity clients in assisting them on ways to effectively minimize and limit potential future litigation.

Vanessa has also been recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers Magazine.

Vanessa is originally from Los Angeles, has worked in the firm's San Francisco office. She presently resides in San Francisco with her husband and daughter. When not helping clients with their legal needs she spends her time volunteering as a member of the Asian American Bar Association Community Services Committee and working with the GLIDE organization in San Francisco.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
