Better yet, run like hell away from these guys! As an artist who knew nothing about the legal system and court procedure, Curtis Edlund ruined my life by missing out on a pension and my ability for any kind of retirement. I had to sell my home and lost my life's savings because of him. He did not follow my instructions; submitted no evidence; and sat in court with his arms folded the entire day not saying one word in my defense - not a single word! He didn't give a damn about me or my financial situation. Not only that, an old family friend who is a lawyer and a certified CPA caught him systematically padding my $30k bill $8k. He took every advantage of me. I'm sure he would have taken my house if he could. Only until years later did I learn of the possibility of pleading for a new trial from what is called - Ineffective Assistance of Council. I also had to learn the hard way why he kept telling me to call him instead of write or email - no paper trail. It was a hard lesson to learn.
Edlund destroyed my financial independence by not following my instructions; submitting no evidence in court, and not defending me with not a single word coming out of his mouth. He just sat there saying nothing. He didn't give a damn about me. I lost a pension, all my savings, and my home because of him. At 68, I now live with my 94 year old mother living from hand to mouth as a handyman with a very uncertain future. Stay far, far away from this firm for your own financial health.
