James G. Griffin is an Associate at DeCotiis, FitzPatrick, Cole, and Giblin, LLP, where he is a member of the firm’s Labor and Employment and Litigation practice groups. Prior to joining DeCotiis, Mr. Griffin served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable John A. Young, Jr., J.S.C. in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Hudson Vicinage. During his clerkship, Mr. Griffin drafted judicial motion decisions on a variety of criminal legal issues and conducted extensive legal research.
Mr. Griffin is a 2020 graduate of Stony Brook University where he received his B.A in Economics with a Minor in U.S. History. He then attended Seton Hall Law School and received his J.D. in 2023. While attending law school, Mr. Griffin worked as a Law Clerk at Lambariello Edwards Smith & Speed, LLC, an Estate Planning and Administration firm in Warren, New Jersey, where he assisted in legal research and drafting/reviewing documents.
