Hired Attorney Robert Hagy II

I spent nine months in a marriage and the following 6 years in custody proceedings. I'm a veteran and have a single prior felony conviction from 20+ years ago while my estranged x has an appearance that is somewhat polished on the surface with candidacy for her Ph.D. in Educ. Admin. - My point is that I was up against a real brick wall! I had hired counsel three times prior, but I realized I wouldn't gain ground with collaborative lawyers on my case - I needed extensive skills in aggressive, responsively sharp minded and presence commanding trial counsel. I admit I am not the easiest client to represent, I'm passionate and focused on the child but that can be unintentionally harmful. Without Mr. Hagy the results WOULD have been significantly different but I am confident, his ability to get to the heart of the matter through all the multi faceted lies, smoke, mirrors and the host of other issues within highly contested custody cases is exactly what made the difference.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

Lawyers who have received peer reviews after 2009 will display more detailed information, including practice areas, summary ratings, detailed numeric ratings and written feedback (if available). Details for individual reviews received before 2009 are not displayed.
