Laura S. Olympio has a broad range of litigation experience representing clients in state, federal, and administrative proceedings. Prior to joining the firm, Laura served as a Staff Attorney with the South Florida Water Management District. With the District, Laura handled consumptive use permitting, water supply, water conservation, and other water use issues along with representing the District before the Division of Administrative Hearings in permit challenges, rules challenges, and bid protests. She also represented the District in general civil litigation matters including public records issues, sunshine law, quiet title actions, permit enforcement cases, and water use disputes.
Prior to time with the District, Laura worked in private practice representing clients in state and federal courts. While at the University of Miami for law school, Laura clerked for a United States District Court Magistrate Judge and for judges with the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida.
