Gambrell & Associates, PLLC is a law firm with an office in Oxford, MS. At this office location, there are 2 lawyers practicing commercial bankruptcy, consumer bankruptcy, personal injury and 3 other areas of law.
They were knowledgeable and the lawyer was competent, but the office help was slow, and had trouble keeping track of times, appointments. and papers. They also did not tell me where to go for each court appearance, just the times...which was not bad, until the last one where the location had changed from one month to the next. Thank goodness it is a small town, so it did not take hours to find the new location.
I hired them to help with my social security disability claim. I've never met the attorney, I only spoke with the paralegal. She made me come to their office to enter the initial application, which I could have done at my home. She even marked some things incorrectly that Social Security had to correct. I spoke with her a couple more times on the phone. The last time I spoke with her, she told me not to make another payment toward an old SS overpayment until I heard back from her. I never heard anything back from her so I just made the payments as always. Then she started ignoring me, wouldn't answer email, text, or respond to voicemail. I haven't heard from them since February, it's now August. I was approved for my disability a couple weeks ago, but I feel it was with no help from them whatsoever. Now the case is over and they even got paid by Social Security, but I still have not heard anything from them. I would not recommend them for Social Security cases at all.
