Hired Attorney

I retained Peter Vilmos at this firm to represent me in a dispute with my landlord. After spending over $10,000, I was no closer to a resolution. Despite having a clear contract law issue, he repeatedly advised me to “come to an agreement” rather than pursue the matter in court. Ultimately, I decided to hire a different attorney, J. Marc Jones, who quickly filed for summary judgment — which we won. The landlord appealed, and we prevailed again in appellate court, where I was awarded five years’ worth of legal fees related to the matter. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Peter Vilmos if you are looking for an attorney who will truly listen, advocate for you, and fight for your legal rights.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
