Lawrence “Larry” Gonzalez is the Managing Partner overseeing all of Morgan & Morgan’s Central Florida offices. A native of Florida, Mr. Gonzalez earned his bachelor’s degree with honors from the University of Florida, followed by his J.D. from the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law, where he graduated at the top of his class.
Throughout his career with Morgan & Morgan, Mr. Gonzalez has cultivated a national reputation for excellence in handling complex personal injury and wrongful death litigation, particularly in cases involving catastrophic injuries and motor carrier (interstate and intrastate trucking) crashes. He was instrumental in founding the Firm’s Premises Liability Department and subsequently led Florida’s Fire Litigation Practice, where he focused on wrongful death claims arising from fire-related incidents.
Mr. Gonzalez has successfully recovered multi-million-dollar verdicts and settlements on behalf of clients across the country. While many matters may be resolved through settlement, he is a tenacious advocate who is fully prepared to litigate when necessary to achieve justice. Over the years, he has litigated thousands of cases against some of the largest corporations and insurance companies in the world. He has personally handled every stage of the trial process through verdict.
Notably, Mr. Gonzalez has represented professional athletes from the NBA, PGA Tour, and NASCAR. He is a frequent lecturer on personal injury law, having educated hundreds of attorneys nationwide, and has made numerous appearances on national and local media outlets. He is also a familiar face in Morgan & Morgan’s television and internet campaigns.
