Alexus N. Speights is an associate with Alvarez, Thompson, & Smoak, P.A. Her practice area is general liability.Ms. Speights received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Florida State University. Thereafter she received her Juris Doctorate from Florida A &M University. While in law school, Ms. Speights was a member of the criminal law society, Student Bar Association tutoring committee, Black Student Union, and Women’s Law Caucus.
Before practicing, she was a law clerk at full-service law firm with a strong presence across the southeastern United States and the Caribbean in their Tallahassee, FL office. While there she spent two years learning the ins and outs of civil litigation and premises liability.
Ms. Speights is a Florida native and was born and raised in Tallahassee, FL. When she is not working, she enjoys spending her time running after her two small dogs as well as curling up with a good fantasy novel and losing track of time listening to a good podcast.
