This was a divorce case fighting for custody of my child, not only did he take $6800, for the case, he didn’t show up for the custody hearing, I was able to post pone the case to find another attorney, which THANK GOD, I was able to prove that the exhusband beat his own son with a belt buckle and had a child abuse case against him, that is the only reason I was granted custody.1st hearing Mr Jones showed up and rear-ended a innocent person leaving the court room, in front of the courthouse. Horrible experience. Took my money, didn't show up for first hearing. Then at second hearing went into judges chamber, asked us to wait outside. Said they made an agreement. Then never heard another thing until he filed a motion to withdraw. Never filed the countersuit our agreement paperwork. Not motion for final judgement is Monday and I have no documentation and I am unable to show evidence because he didn't file the necessary paperwork. I will have a judgement against me.
This person should be disbarred. He will not work. Period. He had me do all the leg work for my case. I had to go to the store to get copies of photos for him. He took my money then as I turned around he said that he would be leaving on vacation and would not be back for several weeks. My case was time sensitive. I told him that I need paperwork filed with the courts. He told me I could do it myself and he preceded to explain his job to me and how I could do it.
She overcharged for everything. If I spent 2 minutes on the phone with her, I was charged for a quarter of an hour. If I spent 16 minutes on the phone with her, I was charged for a half an hour. Every piece of mail was sent twice and yes, I was charged for each piece of mail.She did not listen to my needs or wants. In my opinion, she is very selfish. For services I received should have cost no more than 4K, but I was charged over 13K. And the problems were not resolved. I had to seek new council
