I was hoping to get a lawyer that would help guide me through estate planning, outline best practices, and provide recommendations. Instead we received someone who said what do you want and then when it came to creating the Will, (we have two kids) one was in twice and the other was omitted. We were on time to appointments and the receptionist had us seated at the desk with Ms. Derr who proceeded to keep typing what every she was typing and then 2-3 minutes later greeted us.
I was referred to her from my legal insurance provider, reached out and without explanation or even discussing the case further she just kept telling me to go elsewhere, still not sure why she didn’t want to help us or couldn’t, never got an answer except for, “ This case is in Lancaster County – I suggest you look for a lawyer in Lincoln” she did at least respond quickly, so that was helpful for us to start looking for other options
