I have a diverse and unusual case; Steve has proven to not only be knowledgable but experienced. He has shown remarkable patience with my numerous questions and provided excellent expertise. His court interactions are confident and he is a killer on cross. I am extremely pleased with his service.
I would not recommend Mr. Ditto as a divorce attorney. He is quick to answer calls and call back, but he needs constant reminding in order to get him to do what he said he will do. Poor prep before court, I had no clue what to expect and experienced a poor outcome. Very poor and shady billing and invoice procedures. I was billed incorrectly and when I pointed this out he initially tried to argue about it and then I was sent a "corrected" invoice billing me for additional "services" that were not on the original invoice in order to justify the money he took out of the trust.
Would not recommend. Attorney was constantly out of the office in trial or on vacation so communication was very poor. The receptionist is easy to connect with but not helpful on details of case information, updates etc... The attorney would bring the wrong file to meetings and say woops, let me go print your file and be gone for 30 minutes which end up being billable time. Motions and legal documents would have typos and incorrect information including birthdates and addresses. In my particular case, the attorney was not paying attention to notices that were coming in from respondent's monitored actions and did not communicate the failures until weeks later. There was no follow through on any of the legal demands this attorney wrote up to opposing counsel. If you need someone to draft a legal document for you, it may be worth the value but be sure to proof read it and not expect any teeth or enforcement.
