About Kelly McClintock

Kelly R. McClintock joined Grewal Law in 2019 to help establish a human trafficking litigation division and to assist Grewal’s already successful practices, including sexual assault litigation, and family law. After graduating from Michigan State University of Law Cum Laude in 2018, Kelly worked for Ingham County Probate Judge Shauna Dunnings and Chief Judge of Probate and Circuit Court, Richard J. Garcia. While working for the Court, Kelly gained invaluable experience working side by side with the Judges and Court staff to assist clients in the areas of probate and family law. In her role, Kelly worked closely with the Personal Protection Order office to keep victims of domestic violence and their families safe.

During law school, Kelly learned of the devastation and widespread impact human trafficking causes in communities large and small. Since 2015, Kelly has been an active member of the anti-trafficking movement in Michigan and beyond. In 2016, Kelly worked with the internationally-recognized Advocates for Human Rights, headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to help launch anti-trafficking trainings for lawyers and prosecutors. She is also a member and certified trainer from the Michigan Human Trafficking Task Force.

Prior to attending law school, Kelly worked in the non-profit community development finance industry for 5 years. Rising from intern to Assistant Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations, Kelly helped position Cinnaire Corporation to expand and provide equity and lending services to developers of affordable housing and other high-impact economic development projects, from the Midwest region to the Atlantic seaboard.

Although she holds a law degree from MSU, Kelly still cheers for her boys and girls in blue, as she attended the University of Michigan for her double bachelor’s degree in history and political science. Kelly also attended the University of Cape Town in South Africa for one year of her undergraduate studies. When she has time, Kelly enjoys traveling, cooking, practicing yoga, and spending time with loved ones.
