Andy Jacobson is my go-to for all things legal. I've engaged with Andy on several matters, several times. Each time I've won my case(s) and met my objectives. Some items Bay Oak Law has navigated and achieved for us are: acquiring valuable patents (and defending them), implementing best business practices, even some sensitive, urgent personal matters; all the while enjoying the many benefits of working with a genuine, caring, intelligent & unique human being. Being represented by Andy, via his methodology, makes me confident as well as courageous, to develop future endeavors. Moreover, he has added more to my firms’ operating abilities. Most notable is the all-important risk mitigation expertise. Yet, perhaps most importantly a formidable partner with a highly responsive team. That's empowerment! Unusually, I met Andy merely by calling his office. I wasn't personally referred. I soon realized I'd stumbled upon a master in the field of law. In short, an incredible addition.
We reached out regarding an intellectual property issue impacting our nonprofit and had a very helpful initial conversation that addressed our immediate concerns. We're very grateful!
Andy Jacobson was the go-to attorney for exactly what I needed. His diligent research, prompt and courteous response and continued education in his field, proved to be the right choice at just the right time. He is highly competent, shows an incredible knowledge base in his specialty, and a pleasure to work with.

Andy is an excellent attorney. He has vast experience and he is courteous.I appreciated his condor and telling me straight forward what to expect. Overall he helped me immensely at a stress full time and I appreciated that. I would recommend him to my family and friends.
Andy gave me a sense of empowerment as I navigated through a tough business issue with a potential business partner, and this was very valuable for me. As a small business owner, I felt confident knowing I had Andy as an advisor through this process.{para}In terms of communication style, Andy employs some strategies that made me realize I was in good hands there, as well. He makes sure he understands completely what your needs are before acting, which results in very thorough legal representation.
Andy was able to get me out of a messy civil matter in very rapid fashion. Better to avoid problems than to have to solve them after the fact! I appreciated Andy's efficient resolution of the matter.
Andy Jacobson has provided me outstanding service, advice, counsel and responsiveness in times of urgent need, and overall he is a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend him to any small to medium business. He also is a shining example in the Oakland community.

Martindale-Hubbell® Client Review Ratings™ display reviews submitted by individuals who have either hired or consulted the lawyers or law firms.
The Client Review Rating score is determined through the aggregation of validated responses. People who submit reviews are either individuals who consulted with the lawyer/law firm or who hired the lawyer/law firm and want to share their experience of that lawyer or law firm with other potential clients. Reviewers can be anyone who consults or hires a lawyer including in-house counsel, corporate executives, small business owners, and private individuals.
Martindale-Hubbell validates that a reviewer is a person with a valid email address. As part of the review process, respondents must affirm that they have had an initial consultation, are currently a client or have been a client of the lawyer or law firm identified, although Martindale-Hubbell cannot confirm the lawyer/client relationship as it is often confidential. The content of the responses is entirely from reviewers.

Martindale Peer Reviews
Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings™ are the gold standard in attorney ratings, and have been for more than a century. These ratings indicate attorneys who are widely respected by their peers for their ethical standards and legal expertise in a specific area of practice.
The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
