Ivan A. Schertzer started his career in the field of law in 1980. After two years, he founded his own legal firm called the Law Offices of Ivan A. Schertzer. His main focus has been assisting people with legal matters related to personal injuries. His law office is situated in North Miami, and he serves clients living in the metropolitan areas of Miami and Fort Lauderdale. Mr. Schertzer is dedicated to supporting individuals who have suffered injuries and their families. He handles a wide variety of cases involving personal injuries and cases where someone's death has occurred due to wrongful circumstances. Before he established his own law firm, Mr. Schertzer worked as an attorney specializing in insurance defense for a well-known law firm in Florida. He gained important experience during his time in law school by interning at the Dade County Public Defender's office. In fact, he even got the opportunity to take cases to trial during his second year of law school as part of a program called Rule 9 intern, which is approved by the Florida Supreme Court.
Mr. Schertzer is involved in various professional associations and memberships, including Dade County Bar Association, The Florida Bar, Florida Trial Lawyers Association, and he was President of the North Dade Bar Association from 2004 to 2005.
