Jason Stern completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland and graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 1994.
Soon after starting his own practice in 1995, he began litigating cases in state and federal court. He is admitted to practice in both the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and is a long-standing member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association. During his prestigious career, he has been appointed and served New York as a New York Civil Court Arbitrator, Civil Court Guardian Ad Litem, New York City Administrative Law Judge, and New York City and State Impartial Hearing Officer.
As an oft-quoted expert on cutting-edge legal issues, his frequent media appearances include the New York Times, Fox News, Good Morning America, CNN, Headline News, Wall Street Journal, ABC, US News & World Report, Bottom Line Magazine and the BBC.
Mr. Stern has received recognition for his extensive volunteer and pro bono work on behalf of the Brooklyn Bar Association and the 9/11 Victims' Assistance Program. He is the recipient of the AVVO Client's Choice Awards for 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2018 and has also been recognized by the American Society of Legal Advocates as one of New York's Top 100 Criminal Defense Lawyers and one of New York's 10 Best Attorneys for Personal Injury for Client Satisfaction.
When not servicing his clients, Jason Stern serves his local communities as a Basketball, Soccer, Football and Little League Baseball Coach. He lives in New York with his wife and two children.
