In her more than two decades of experience in both the U.S. and Mexico, Diana has developed a wide-ranging tax practice and a diverse portfolio of clients. Diana has a law degree and a graduate degree in taxation from Escuela Libre de Derecho in Mexico City, and an L.L.M. in International Taxation from New York University School of Law. Diana has published extensively in the “Daily Tax Report” (BNA Tax Management Memorandum), World Trade Executives, Practical U.S./Domestic Tax Strategies and other tax sources and has been invited to speak at several tax forums in Mexico and the United States.
Diana is bilingual in English and Spanish. She assists clients with a variety of international business affairs including tax planning for international transactions and investments, international estate planning, treaty-based optimization structures, real estate and FIRPTA transactions, pre-immigration tax planning, tax aspects of project finance, aircraft financing and leasing, and FATCA and CRS compliance She is a member of multiple professional associations including the Tax Club, the New York State Bar Association, the Brooklyn Women’s Bar Association and La Barra Mexicana Colegio de Abogados, A.C. in Mexico City.
