Salvador J. Pusateri is a founding member of the firm and is currently managing member. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. Sal graduated from Loyola University of Chicago and Tulane University Law School. In law school, he was elected to the Order of the Coif and was a member of the Tulane Moot Court Board. He was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 1991 to the Texas Bar in 2010. Sal practices before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana, the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas, the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
He is an active member of the American Bar Association, Louisiana State Bar Association, New Orleans Bar Association, Maritime Law Association of the United States, Southeastern Admiralty Law Institute and Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel. He is currently serving as vice-chairman of the Southeastern Admiralty Law Institute and was previously president of the New Orleans Mariners Club.
