I cannot recommend Mr. Mordock highly enough. When a family member unexpectedly needed criminal defense representation, he stepped in immediately and handled the situation with exceptional professionalism and skill. He was incredibly responsive, kept us informed every step of the way, and approached the matter with both competence and efficiency. Most importantly, he successfully resolved the issue and gave our family tremendous peace of mind during a very stressful time. If you are looking for a criminal defense attorney who is knowledgeable, responsive, and truly effective, I would confidently recommend him to anyone in need of representation.
I had a charge that came with a minimum of 5 years and max of 10. Including a life changing registration requirement. It was a long and stressful process. But Craig was there through every step and made most all my court dates. Even when they were just to give me a new date. My case was very complex and high risk. When Craig was there day or night. He does have a heavy workload. But he got back to me asap and never left me hanging. He got me from a 7 year and registration offer. To 3 years probation with an expungement after completion. He's honest with his opinions and doesn't sugar coat anything. The Louisiana Justice System is absolutely terrible. But this man still work miracles. If it wasn't such a high risk case. With a terrible DA in charge. He would have pushed even harder. But he puts the future of his client first. I couldn't have hired a better defense attorney. Lord forbid I EVER get into trouble again. But if I do, he will be my first call!
Mr. Mordock did an amazing job handling my case. I had an old charge from years ago, and he assured me he would take care of it and work to get it dismissed. True to his word, after just a couple of months he was able to get the case dropped. He was professional, confident, and made the whole process much less stressful for me. I’m very grateful for the work he did and the result he got. I highly recommend Mr. Mordock to anyone looking for a great lawyer.
Two days before my trial we met at his office. The second or third different office since he was hired. He had everything completely backwards. He never took depositions from my accusers. Never called or took depositions from any of the list of names I had given him for character witnesses. Day of trial he asked me if I had any political enemies. I said yes, but he wouldn’t elaborate on why he would ask such a question. During all the pretrials if he showed up he was late. All this resulted in me taking a plea deal because I lost confidence I would get the representation I needed to prove my innocence. With no evidence either way it was a he said she said and my health wasn’t gonna allow me to survive in prison. Ironically my health was a key issue in proving my innocence but he thought we shouldn’t use it. Also he didn’t want me on the stand. Said I was too angry. Dang, straigt I’m angry as any innocent person would be.
