It was hard to work with Gordon. He was dismissive. His status was immensely helpful in my case, but there was no actual concern for my children's well being or the domestic violence I was experiencing and continue to deal with. Gordon told me a order I signed in front of a judge and he charged me to receive copies of from the clerk did not exist. It was simply a order to talk to my children at specific time every night while in their father's custody. Just to know my daughter's were healthy, happy and safe. I felt like I was protecting myself and my family from his office to a certain degree, while paying him handsomely. When I reached out during the pandemic to let him know my custodial time was being denied and I was trapped in a abusive situation, he did not respond and just billed it on the invoice as my ex's vacation. It was demoralizing. Luckily I'm in a better situation now. I reccomend any woman in a domestic violence situation avoid Gordon and the court system.
