About Aaron B. Greenbaum

Aaron is a founding member of the firm. His practice covers a wide range bluewater admiralty and maritime issues, focusing on defense. His experience includes Jones Act defense, maintenance and cure issues, § 905(b) longshore claims, wrongful death, offshore platform injuries, tug and towage, vessel collisions and allisions, defense of claims under the Wreck Act, prosecution and defense of maritime liens and vessel arrest actions, premises liability, construction litigation, and defense and indemnity issues. Aaron’s practice also includes asbestos defense. Prior to private practice, Aaron had the honor of working as a law clerk in the state trial courts of Vermont, an experience he would not trade for the world. While in law school, he proudly served on the Tulane Maritime Law Journal.

Aaron is involved in several bar associations and organizations. He currently serves on the executive council of the New Orleans Bar Association Young Lawyers Section and was previously the chair of its Public Service Committee, having organized several pro-bono legal fairs and Habitat for Humanity build events. He is involved in the Maritime Law Association of the United States, where he serves on the Website and Technology Committee. He has also served a brief judge for the John R. Brown Admiralty Moot Court Competition. Aaron is heavily involved in community organizations. He previously volunteered as a big brother in Big Brothers Big Sisters of New Orleans and as a mentor in the Boys and Girls Club of Rutland, Vermont. Most recently, Aaron served on the board of the Broadmoor Development Corporation in his neighborhood in New Orleans.
