Heidi L. De la Rosa is a seasoned attorney with extensive experience representing clients in all aspects of matrimonial and family law including divorce, alimony and child support, property distribution, and child custody matters.
Heidi began her legal career at Wiggin and Dana, LLP one of the region's largest and most prestigious law firms. She earned her J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law where she graduated #5 in her class and received numerous academic awards and honors. While in law school she clerked for the Honorable Peter Dorsey, U.S. District Court Judge for the District of Connecticut. More importantly, Heidi is the mother of three boys and prior to joining the McConnell Family Law Group, Heidi was a very busy stay-at-home parent for eleven years.
A native of Bridgeport, Connecticut Heidi now resides with her family in Trumbull, Connecticut. She is very active in this community; serving as a board member of the Lakewood-Trumbull YMCA and staying involved in the youth football and wrestling leagues, where her husband coaches and her boys compete.
