Hired Attorney

Robert Fiedler took time from each of our tree meetings our meetings to tell private stories. After he received a retainer of $3000 to assist me in filing divorce, he requested $600 after affidavit was complete, and papers were filed. He failed at completing basic steps attorneys need to complete to represent their clients, which was visible in my online case profile. As a result, my husband kept our house and paid me 50% of the home equity, which was equivalent to $18,000. I had lived in this home for 14 years, raised two kids, renovated it, invested labor and sweat as well as daily and weekly maintenance, and more than $30,000 in renovation. I had to represent myself while my husband had the full support of his lawyer. I was luckily supported by my husband's lawyer, who was familiar with other frauds of Robert Fiedler, and persuaded my husband to work on an amicable divorce.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
