About Renee Read, Attorney at Remley & Sensenbrenner, S.C.
A strong legal advocate in the courtroom; A candid and practical advisor to her clients.
Renee developed her fastidious work ethic from her agricultural upbringing in Dubuque County, Iowa. Her sharp analytical mind initially drew her to study health sciences, but ultimately she pursued a law degree after seeing the legal profession as an opportunity to have greater impact. Her attributes are well-suited to the practice of law and have translated into a successful legal career. Attorney Read was previously a member of a general practice law firm in Janesville, where she was able to establish a strong foundation in multiple areas of law; that expansive knowledge and background continues to benefit her and her clients in the specialized practice she has today. Renee relocated to the Fox Cities and joined Remley & Sensenbrenner in 2010, and has since become a shareholder.

Renee Read, Attorney at Remley & Sensenbrenner, S.C. got this award in 2021
I highly recommend Renee to anyone looking for legal council. She helped me fight for some custody and placement issues regarding my young daughter. She gave great advice, was very knowledgeable about what my options were and her experience in the industry was very comforting. Renee is extremely professional but also compassionate and understanding of the struggles legal battles can bring. Her hourly fee may be higher than others in the area but if you want the best chance at winning your case she is definitely worth the extra money. I felt like I was in good hands throughout the entire process!
Professional and thorough are the attributes that stand out in describing Renee Read after working with her for one year. I was completely satisfied with the conclusion of my case. I corresponded by email with many many questions and Renee responded in a timely manner with a clear answer She explained in detail implications of decisions I was asked to make along the way. She is also kind and cared about me as an individual. I am grateful I found her for this challenging time in my life.
I found working with Attorney Read to be a very positive experience. She is very knowledgeable, attentive, kind and honest - I am very thankful that she is on my team!

Martindale-Hubbell® Client Review Ratings™ display reviews submitted by individuals who have either hired or consulted the lawyers or law firms.
The Client Review Rating score is determined through the aggregation of validated responses. People who submit reviews are either individuals who consulted with the lawyer/law firm or who hired the lawyer/law firm and want to share their experience of that lawyer or law firm with other potential clients. Reviewers can be anyone who consults or hires a lawyer including in-house counsel, corporate executives, small business owners, and private individuals.
Martindale-Hubbell validates that a reviewer is a person with a valid email address. As part of the review process, respondents must affirm that they have had an initial consultation, are currently a client or have been a client of the lawyer or law firm identified, although Martindale-Hubbell cannot confirm the lawyer/client relationship as it is often confidential. The content of the responses is entirely from reviewers.

Martindale Peer Reviews
Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings™ are the gold standard in attorney ratings, and have been for more than a century. These ratings indicate attorneys who are widely respected by their peers for their ethical standards and legal expertise in a specific area of practice.
The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
