In general a nice woman but better suited for teaching law than practicing. I am embarrassed to think I paid for this level of representation. I walked into court with a happy to get along lawyer, that was bullied by a barely 30yr old court appointed defense attorney. My rights and interest as a client were not represented at all.
Martha was hired to represent my young daughter in her child custody/child supp case. Not a complicated one..good mother; not married to child's father; basically seeking child visitation/child support agreement. To be brief, Martha talked down to my daughter during conversations, did not represent her best interests, and on court hearing date presented a parenting plan outlining a visitation schedule that, if agreed to, would have provided father with more than he asked for! Save your money!
I had been appointed agent of mothers DPOAs in 2003. Older sibling filed petition for conservatorship of mother 2010. Siblings Attorney stated DPOAs was "old", Ms Child ignored the DPOAs. Ms. Child failed to act in the best interest of my mother or myself. Sibling was acting as "caregiver" for my mother and I had advised Ms. Child of many facts regarding my mothers care or lack of and all were dismissed. Failed as an Attorney, a very costly mistake. Mother passed away before court date.
