Jim Kay is a 54-year-old Nashville native who is best known for handling high profile cases in both litigation and mediation. Mr. Kay has vast experience in the courtroom as he has tried over 80 jury cases and hundreds of non-jury cases, and he has completed over 2,200 arbitrations and mediations across the State of Tennessee as one of the state's top mediators. Mr. Kay is a general contractor and consults frequently with contractors and owners across the Southeast on various construction projects.

Mr. Kay has represented plaintiffs in two cases with verdicts over $1,000,000.00, and was plainitff's counsel in a Williamson County, Tennessee case with a settlement of $2,900,000.00. He recently represented a Fortune 500 company and obtained a 4.6 million dollar settlement for the client in a construction dispute.

Mr. Kay is also involved in numerous community activities.
