Mr. French should not be practicing law I would pay him for a service and he would not take any action then disappear for months. The only way I could get him to call me was to reach out to a Ms. Carruth at the SC BAR where I was able to make soft complaints I had to reach out to Ms Carruth multiple times . I am now filing a formal complaint to the BAR resulting from, IMHO, Mr. French’s misconduct and fraud. After procedural wins in lower courts We made it to the court of appeals in Columbia where Mr French said we had a good chance. He would present a case during oral arguments that would solidify I owned my home. The hearing was on August 7th 2019. Mr. French did not respond to the courts scheduling. He did not even SHOW UP. Our positive ruling was overturned res judicata After another act of malpractice associated with the selling of my home he offered me 50,000. I hired a lawyer to negotiate a settlement. Mr.French has disappeared. I am suing.IMHO he should be disbarred
I don't recommend. He did not do the work that I hired him for, but he will gladly take my money. He does not communicate with clients. He does not file answers or respond to to opposing counsel with the court. He does not inform clients of court dates.
