Working with Jamie was a great experience. He made a difficult, stressful situation completely painless. He was very responsive, addressing all of our concerns immediately. His knowledge of the case law enabled a much quicker and more favorable settlement than we anticipated. While we hope we do not need his services again, we would absolutely hire him again if needed.

Jamie worked closely to ensure that the non-profit where I worked received a just property insurance settlement. The claim was large and complex and he shepherded a process through multiple levels that eventually reached a satisfactory resolution. At every stage he provided a level of professionalism and expertise that was refreshing as we went through a long and difficult legal process. No one wants to have to go through something like this but going through it with Jamie's help made it much much easier. And in the end his very effective representation enabled us to reach an agreement with the insurance company that proved far more helpful to us than they appeared willing to be throughout earlier stages of the claim. If we had a similar issue arise I would have no hesitation about calling Jamie again, not just for WHAT he achieved for us through this claim but also HOW he went going about doing the work in partnership with us.

Jamie was able to take all of the information and compile a well thought out and articulate defense based on facts and use different time scales to help convey the information accurately. Thie foresight as to what would be needed was incredible as was the consistent calming influence that he had for me. He made sense of a senseless situation and was very helpful in getting the result that enabled a finish and a clean slate. He was great!

When I hired this attorney for a wrongful death claim of my 20 year old son, I trusted him completely. His fees were higher than others, but I assumed that meant better service. Over time, I began to see things differently. He felt less like a trusted advocate and more like a used car salesman — full of reassurances but short on substance. One phrase he used was “We carry the risk if it goes to trial.” It sounded comforting at first, but I eventually understood what it really means — you are the risk. You are the one with everything to lose. It’s a sales tactic, not a promise. By the time I understood what was happening, I felt like a transaction, not a client. He did not put my needs first. Ask hard questions, compare fees, and be cautious of smooth talkers.
