About Jonathan Brooks Davis

Brooks graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in finance and attended the Charleston School of Law.

After college, Brooks worked for Merrill Lynch as a financial consultant helping people reach their investment goals.

In 1991, Brooks co-founded an aircraft charter and management company based in Charleston. He started several other businesses including aircraft dealerships, service centers and FBOs, and sold multi-million dollar jets for one of the world’s leading aircraft brokerages.

Brooks' primary areas of practice are aviation law, police misconduct, criminal defense, DUI defense and traffic violations.

Brooks served as an officer and attorney in the South Carolina State Guard JAG Detachment and recently retired as a lieutenant colonel. He provides pro-bono legal services to veterans, first responders, the elderly and others in need.

My wife and I drove down to the Isle of Palms for a weekend getaway after the hurricane came through NC and left us without power. Not knowing the roads well, I apparently entered a locally known speed trap merging onto the Isle of Palms connector and was cited for speeding 10 mph over the limit. Upon returning home I reached out to Mr. Davis to discuss options. He was very professional, responsive, and worked diligently to mitigate successfully my traffic citation. I would confidently recommend him as an attorney.

I live in NC and was visiting family in SC. Was at the end of my journey of about 4 hrs doing 70-80 mph most of the way until i hit I- 526 where speed limit slows to 60 mph suddenly, am about to get off at next exit when a police officer pulls me over for doing 82 in a 60 . i was in right lane, never saw where he came from. if i pay and plead guilty, my license is suspended in NC for 30 days. i interview two law firms and choose MR Davis. He is a former police officer with many years experience in the area. i had no prior tickets and MR Davis got it DISMISSED. Never promised a result. Very Informative about my options, Very responsive to my concerns and Always reachable. Smartest move i ever made. Reasonably Priced, Very happy with his services and would hire again. WHEN in DOUBT let BROOKS WORK it OUT.
