Paolo Conte focuses his practice on estate planning by way of Wills and Trusts, Medicare and Medicaid planning, Special Needs Trusts, and Long-Term Care planning.
A former associate at a New York City law firm, Paolo develops asset protection strategies to help clients achieve their long-term planning goals, tax savings, and liability protection. He routinely creates trust instruments and other asset protection vehicles, assists clients with charitable gift planning, and renders advice relating to estate and gift tax returns. He also counsels clients on the legal and financial considerations in retirement distributions, real property transfers, and eligibility for government benefits.
Paolo represents clients in contested will proceedings, lost will proceedings, and trust proceedings before the Surrogates’ Courts of New York.
A graduate of Villanova University, Paolo earned his B.A. in political science before obtaining his law degree from Western Michigan University. For his law school externship, Paolo served as a law clerk for The New York State Attorney General.
