    ates: Representing Eolectric, a wind energy prospector, in a suit to recover a $3.5 million success fee from Kruger Energy further to the award of a power purchase agreement for the development of the St-Remi wind farm project. The case is under advisement.
    Successfully represented Dr. Garrel before the Court of Appeal of Quebec, which upheld the decision of Justice Tingley in the matter Gestion Finance Tamalia inc. v. Garrel whereby we obtained the dismissal of a defamation suit of more than $7 million against our client.
    Representing CI Investments in a major security class action alleging improper supervision of market timing operations.
    Representing Manulife in a major security class action alleging improper disclosure to the stock market
    shareholders pertaining to risks related to its capital-guaranteed products..
    Obtained the annulment of the Quebec provincial transport ministry decision to disqualify Genivar-Dessau from a $70 million construction project. Following this decision, Genivar-Dessau obtained the contract for realization of plans
    specifications
    site supervision.
    Obtained the dismissal of a declinatory exception in favour of the CCI
    an arbitration request before the CCI in an action for several million dollars pertaining to manufacturer's liability for the benefit of our client Bombardier.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
