Hired Attorney Mr. Russell Duraski

My brother was not given a very good lawyer. He did not investigate the case properly. We didn't know until the day the trial started about the trial. He was not even prepared after months of having the case. He hadn't spoke to any witnesses. The witnesses that we had sitting in the courtroom were not even called. He didn't cross examine the witnesses, object, or do anything to help my brother in his defense. His reaction to my brother wanting to prove his innocence instead of taking a plea deal was putting his head down on the table. How unprofessional was that🤷🏾‍♀️. He did a very poor job being my brother's lawyer. Letters were sent to both state and county Bar Associations about his poor service. I would definitely find a paid lawyer rather than a court appointed lawyer like this. Your loved one deserves to be represented by someone who will do their best to defend them and have their best interest at heart.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
