About Ms. Rupal Parikh, Esq.

Attorney Rupal Parikh handles matters related to immigration law and matrimonial disputes. She is licensed to practice in the States of New Jersey and Louisiana and represents immigration clients across the United States.

A native of Gujarat, India, Rupal immigrated to the United States with her family in 1979. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Louisiana State University in 1993, her Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center in 1997, and went on to receive her Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Transnational Law from Temple University’s James E. Beasley School of Law in 1999.

Rupal has devoted her career—spanning more than two decades—to defending and advancing the legal rights of immigrants. Prior to entering private practice, she served as a staff attorney at Nationalities Service Center (NSC), a nonprofit organization in Philadelphia assisting immigrants and refugees. There, she handled a wide range of matters, including asylum, family-based immigration, citizenship, and Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) cases.

In 2000, Rupal was awarded the Independence Foundation Fellowship, through which she provided comprehensive legal representation to unaccompanied minors housed in detention facilities throughout Pennsylvania.

After several years in private practice, she established her own firm in 2006 — now located in Montclair, New Jersey — where she continues to offer compassionate and skilled legal representation. Her immigration practice focuses on Employment Immigration, handling matters such as PERM labor certifications, H-1B, L-1, O-1, and EB immigrant visa petitions. She also assists clients with family-based visas, citizenship and naturalization, waiver applications, and nonimmigrant visas, including fiancé(e), student, and work visas.

Rupal has been recognized for her dedication to community service, having been named a Pro Bono Hero by the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). She is also a Top Lawyer in Immigration Law as honored by Morris/Essex Health & Life Magazine every year since 2018.

Rupal is an active member of numerous professional organizations, including:

American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA)

New Jersey State Bar Association

Essex County Bar Association

American Bar Association

American Society of International Law

Indian American Women’s Entrepreneur Association

Beyond her legal work, Rupal is passionate about community education and outreach. She has conducted numerous Know Your Rights presentations in churches and community centers throughout New Jersey and has volunteered for citizenship drives through Rutgers School of Law.

Rupal is also the featured immigration attorney on Radio Mirchi’s “United Dreams of America”, a nationally broadcast program for South Asian audiences, airing Saturdays from 5–7 PM. Previously, she hosted The Immigration Hour on Blaze Radio, sharing legal insights and updates on immigration policy.

Fluent in Gujarati and conversational in Spanish, Rupal takes pride in serving clients from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds with understanding, professionalism, and integrity.
