He is the one of the most corrupt men I know. He is constantly in the local paper for making illegal campaign contributions. He is also a Mormon leader and was very abusive to his congregation, arbitrarily changing doctrine wherever he disagreed with scripture. The leaders of the Mormon church have issued public press releases disavowing his positions. Although he is a great lawyer if you want someone willing to subvert the law for you. His alcoholism may have damaged his brain although I believe he is now sober.
