About Jennifer R. Posey

Jennifer R. Posey was admitted to the California Bar in 1991 graduating Magna Cum Laude from American College of Law with her Juris Doctorate in Law. Previously a professor of Appellate Advocacy and Evidence, Ms. Posey is now practicing in Family Law litigation, Family Law Mediation and serves as an arbitrator on the Orange County Bar Fee Arbitration Panel. Ms. Posey also specializes in the dreaded Qualified Domestic Relations Orders (QDROs), which are feared by all family law attorneys. Ms. Posey is also a real estate broker and specializes in real estate transactions and sales upon dissolution/divorce. Ms. Posey has a appreciation for family law as she has two children of her own (one girl and one boy) both now in college. Her plethora of ideas in custody situations has led her to open a new area of practice as a Custody Coach.

Hobbies/Interests: Horseback riding, sewing, going to the driving range, Just Dance, volunteering, web design, cosplay and old skool video games (Quake III, Half Life, Codename Eagle, Unreal Tournament & Team Fortress 2), taking Sydney, her mini aussie for a walk, and lately, Painting & Vino!

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
