Molly McMahon is an Associate Attorney at Groshek Law who is deeply committed to criminal defense and to the people she represents. She approaches each case with a thoughtful, strategic mindset and a strong belief that every client deserves to be heard, respected, and vigorously advocated for.
Molly brings a well-rounded perspective to her work, having gained experience in both prosecutorial and judicial settings. She understands how cases are evaluated from multiple angles, which allows her to anticipate challenges and craft effective, client-focused strategies.
She earned her Juris Doctor from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in 2022 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University of St. Thomas. During law school, Molly worked as a law clerk for the Dakota County Attorney’s Office and volunteered with the Criminal Expungement Self-Help Clinic, where she assisted individuals seeking to clear their records and move forward with their lives. That experience reinforced her belief in the power of the legal system not just to punish, but to create second chances.
Before joining Groshek Law, Molly served as a judicial clerk in Minnesota’s First Judicial District. In that role, she worked closely with the court on a wide range of legal issues, sharpening her analytical skills and gaining meaningful insight into courtroom dynamics and judicial decision-making.
When she’s not in the courtroom, Molly is usually on the ice, on a court, or on a ballfield. And if she’s not competing, she’s busy planning her next trip and deciding which corner of the world to explore next.
