My previous experience 11 years ago working with Todd Esser, ESSER LAW LLC 11805 W. Hampton Avenue, Suite 200, was extremely rewarding and satisfactory. Yet, I learned my daughter recently in 2021 used their services and she was 100 % satisfied so their good reputation remained intact. I contacted the office on April 6, 2022 needing assistance to help my elderly mother with a financial issue/concern. Immediately a staff person, Melissa, connected me with Todd Esser who demonstrated excellent customer service and provided the knowledge and advise via a conference call we needed. My mother and I were so extrpleased with his attentiveness and genuine concern to help us. I will definitely refer their services to others with confidence they will be satisfied! I have worked with Esser and associates since 2009. From the moment I entered his office, I found him to be knowledgeable, compassionate and trustworthy. People can find themselves in circumstances they have no control over. Life happens to good people. I have found their team to be professional, non-judgemental and efficient. At this time in our society it is difficult to trust others. But, this is not the case with Esser and Associates. They will accomplish your goal.

***Update Oct 20,2025*** After finding them overbilling me, they’ve now requested and been granted release from representing me. Don’t believe all of the fake reviews they’ve been piling on since I’ve left this review. This law firm are snakes and will rip you off if you have to do Chapter 13. ********** I’ve been overbilled thousands of dollars by Steve Berg. Steve would call me to ask me questions and would take a question that took 5 minutes to answer and turn it into a 45 - 60 minute call. Then he would call me again days later because he “misplaced” my answer. So, another 45-60 minute call. Then he would call a week or two later asking the same question. Each and every time I was billed for full hours for Steve Berg. He’s billed me for work that was not originally done and after my complaining, it finally get done but I get double billed. This law firm WILL rip you off if you use them for Chapter 13!

God awful law firm! I have a Ch 13 bankruptcy where the only secured debt was a truck (no house, etc). I then decided to surrender the truck 2 years in and Esser essentially charged me over $2,200 to modify my plan and to surrender my truck. Problem is that over 2 months passed since the trustee approved the surrender and my truck was still in my parking lot, in which I still had to have insurance because I was still legally liable. I raise hell in June and it takes them an additional 3 weeks to get my truck towed. Guess who just got another bill for $617.50, which includes multiple $25 charges for their calls to the car lender which I’m being billed?! They charged me in February and then double charged me in June, after I filed a state complaint against Steve Berg (their lawyer) for ignoring me for months. So, now my Ch13, which has ZERO secured assets is currently at over $7,500 in attorney fees from Esser Law and I wouldn’t put it past them to try and get it over $10,000.
