About James Andrew Mahar

Attorney Mahar worked in insurance defense for more than 25 years prior to joining the Carter Mario Law Firm. Because of this experience, he knows what insurance companies look for when evaluating a claim and how to use that knowledge when fighting for personal injury victims. He also has experience in handling property disputes and matters related to family relations and real estate. Attorney Mahar is a Fourth-Degree member of the Knights of Columbus. When he’s not fighting for the injured, Attorney Mahar participates in charitable activities, such as clothing and food drives. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and their three children, hiking, and reading.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
