Tullio Emil Iacono is a Partner in the firm's Miami office. With 25 years of legal experience, he specializes in defending health care providers in complex medical malpractice litigation. In addition to brain injury, catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases, Mr. Iacono represents emergency room physicians, urgent care practitioners and medical assistants on a wide range of high-exposure claims related to health care delivery. He has managed the defense of a large volume of medical malpractice lawsuits, and has tried numerous cases at the state and federal levels. Alongside litigation defense, Mr. Iacono also protects the rights of clients in hearings, investigations, disciplinary actions and licensing matters before the Florida Department of Health Board of Medicine and the Board of Dentistry.
Mr. Iacono has been recognized by Chambers USA since 2023. With a prestigious Band 1 ranking for Litigation: Medical Malpractice Defense in South Florida, he holds the highest possible ranking, reflecting market-leading expertise, exceptional client service, and a proven track record of outstanding results.
Mr. Iacono earned a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Miami Law School and a B.A. in Political Science at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta.
