Law Offices of Alan Ginsberg is a law firm with an office in Miami, FL. At this office location, there is 1 lawyer.
I hired this Lawyer for my Disability case. When he found out I had a Motor vehicle accident pending he wanted to handle this as well He was begging me to the point of harassing me. He was calling up to 5 times a day. He was in the process of moving from New York back to Florida and seemed desperate. He wanted a retainer to and so I met with him to give him the retainer. He did not have me sign any contract with him as I was still deciding. When I called for my retainer back he refused and said it was for legal fees. I dismissed him from my Disability case and retained another lawyer, who won my case, but Mr. Ginsberg still would not release his money and the new attorney had to pay him from his funds. I have since reported all this to the Florida Bar. I would say run from this lawyer as far as you can. He needs the money more than you do.
I spoke to Alan Ginsberg at length before hiring him. I explained I had some bad experiences with my previous lawyer who never sent me any documents and was not very responsive. He assured me over and over he was not like that and was the type of person that “got things done in a timely manner and I will keep you informed of everything right away”. After hiring and paying him, he recorded himself as the attorney on record. Then he almost immediately became unresponsive. I sent him pages and pages of information and evidence related to the case. He never responded to any of it much less filed anything with the court. I asked him many times via email to respond with zero response. I left him many voicemails which he would seldomly return and when he would, I would just get excuses or ‘I’m working on it’. Once I didn’t hear from him for 3 weeks, he said his son had COVID. Sorry but I’m not sure why that gives you the right to disregard your job and your client for 3 months.
