Jesus R. Gonzalez, an attorney with a unique and distinguished background, was born in Cuba and raised in Puerto Rico. He excelled in Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling during his formative years. Before practicing law, Jesus served with distinction as a combat soldier, deploying to Baghdad, Iraq, as an Infantryman Sniper with the U.S. Army’s 1st Cavalry Division. Promoted to Sergeant at the age of 20, he earned multiple combat awards, including the esteemed Combat Infantryman Badge. After active duty, he continued his service with the U.S. Army Puerto Rico National Guard while progressing through college and law school. His dedication led him to patrol some of Puerto Rico’s most dangerous cities alongside the local police. Currently, he holds the rank of Captain in the U.S. Army Reserves, serving as a Judge Advocate General.
In the realm of law, Jesus has vast experience, having honed his trial skills as an Assistant Public Defender and refined his legal acumen at the Department of Justice's Executive Office for Immigration Review. Currently practicing personal injury law, Jesus leverages his life experiences and bilingual fluency to advocate passionately for his clients, particularly serving and supporting the Hispanic community.
