About Jason R. Margulies

Jason R. Margulies is an experienced maritime lawyer and an active trial attorney handling personal injury, cruise line sexual assault and wrongful death claims. He is admitted to practice before all State and Federal Courts in Florida, the United States Court of Federal Claims, and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Margulies is part of the Lipcon, Margulies & Alsina, and P.A. team of maritime lawyers and has received the highest rating for legal ability in Martindale-Hubbell. He is also certified by the Supreme Court of Florida as a Circuit Court Mediator.

Graduating Cum Laude from New York University Stern School of Business in 1992 and Cum Laude from the University of Miami with his J.D. in 1995, Mr. Margulies was awarded the Most Outstanding Third-Year Member of the Miami Inter-American Law Review (1995).

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
