He is also an experienced civil law attorney with a law degree from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Honduras, with the highest academic honors, and a Notary Public Degree from The Honduran Supreme Court. He has an LL.M. in International and Comparative Law from Southern Methodist University, Texas, and an LL.M. in International Commercial Arbitration Law from Stockholm University, Sweden.
