Gianna Cetrangelo was born and raised in Southwest Florida. She attended the University of South Florida where she received her Bachelor's degree in Political Science and then attended Florida International University’s College of Law. She was named on the Dean’s List for every semester of her legal education and was awarded the Dean's Scholarship. Additionally, she received the Ladies in the Courtroom Scholarship by the American Board of Trial Advocates (“ABOTA”) and the Broward County Hispanic Bar Association. Gianna also earned two CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for earning the highest grades in her Employment Discrimination course and seminar.
At FIU Law, Gianna worked as a Teaching Assistant for the Legal Skills & Values research and writing course, and as a Research Assistant for the Professional Responsibility course. She also completed a judicial internship with the Honorable Bronwyn C. Miller at the Third District Court of Appeal.
