Hired Attorney Pamela M. Sloan

Ms. Sloan is the most exceptional lawyer I have ever met.
She is smart, charismatic, attentive and extremely knowledgeable about the entire divorce process. She is very well respected by her peers and the courts.
Her honesty and realistic assessment of my case and her determination to represent my best interests exceed my expectations.
I have recommended her to other clients and will continue to do so.

Hired Attorney Pamela M. Sloan

Ms Sloan plays fast and lose and crosses the lines of ethical conduct. This is a very risky approach, especially when you are dealing with a person's life. Not a good way to instill confidence with clients.

Hired Attorney Karen L. Robarge

Karen treated my divorce like it was a high profile Wall Street/Hollywood divorce, which it was not. She was merely concerned with billing as many hours as she could. She was reluctant to offer settlements and to resolve things quickly. In the end, I spent more than $150,000 on legal fees, which was more than 2/3rds of my net worth when all was said and done. Support staff is limited, so that they charge you $500+ an hour to do things that a secretary or a paralegal does. Not recommended!

Sherefsky has very poor support staff, so that they charge you $500+ an hour to do things that a secretary or a paralegal does. I would

Hired Attorney Daniel Lipschutz

Daniel's main skill seems to be in billing. Once I complained to him about excessive billing he stopped accepting my calls. He had an appraisal performed on my rent stabilized apartment even though he later admitted it was not relevant to my case. After a settlement was reached, he neglected to have me move my funds out of a joint checking account, thus allowing my wife to grab $80,000 of my money which will require additional legal work and fees to recover..

Nothing good to say - does not know the law - does not put his client's first - and does not realize he is dealing with people's lives. Look elsewhere

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
