I took a chance and hired Jan and her team after seeing her website and I could not be happier that I did. At the worst time in my life, Jan supported me through a divorce with two kids, an uncooperative (now) ex-wife, and my wife's lawyer who was so unnecessarily aggressive she cost both me and my ex attorneys fees for doing work that ended up meaning nothing to the case. Jan never did that. She billed me for work she actually did, included me in every decision, answered every question, and her staff was there for me every time I needed something. I appreciated all the time her firm did work without charging me, too. Jan pushed for mediation instead of an expensive trial in court which worked for me and my ex. In the end, we mediated a fair outcome according to what our mediator said a judge would order. Divorce is ugly but Jan's team supported me 100% through it all.

Ms. Buescher abandoned my case with several unsettled issues, vacated my court date, and never pursued my husband's theft (violation of Prelim Injunct.)of my own community property of my own funds ($20K loss min.). Ms. Buescher had me sign a Consent to Withdraw form during initial consultation as "standard procedure" which she used to abandon my case 8 months later (submitted to court without the dated, signed page). I am told this is an ethical violation and I likely have a malpractice lawsuit
