Albertoni and Associates is a law firm established in 1968 with an office in Merced, CA. At this office location, there is 1 lawyer practicing business litigation, personal injury, criminal defense and 14 other areas of law.
To say that I am extremely disappointed and upset with the paid legal services provided by Susan Albertoni and the law firm of Albertoni and Associates is a huge understatement. The lack of communication, failure to manage my case efficiently and in a timely manner, as well as the surprise charges for unseen and unheard of services is just the start. Susan was NEVER available. I hired her to be my lawyer, and never received a call back, answered email, or any type of communication that would make me feel comfortable that my case was being taken care of. Every time I called the office to speak with her, she was never available, and I was constantly told that she would “get back to me”, but never did. Her paralegal, Sandra, never had any answers for me either. They made me feel naïve, over dramatic, and just plain stupid at times for just wanting to know simple, straight forward information about my case.
We cannot contact Susan, they wouldn't let us schedule a time to talk with her. We were then told that she doesn't need to talk with us and will work on our case behind the scene. How can a lawyer truly represent you when she refused to talk to you? She never cared or took the time to understand us and what we want. She told us she would call us before our court date, but it never happened. She attended court and made a decision that we didn't want and never followed up with us. They also refused to investigate for our case. We decided enough is enough, we are not paying for a service in which the person doesn't care to provide and will only put in minimum efforts. We started looking for a new lawyer and realized there are better lawyers and firms out there and decided to take our money elsewhere to someone who cares. bhbj
