When I was rear ended by a distracted driver with injuries, I was recommended to Schwed, Adams & McGinley PA by a co-worker. I couldn't have been happier with Michael Blum Esq . He and his team handled everything, all my medical bills, my insurance company and kept me abreast of what was going on the entire time. They called me through out the process asking how I was doing. Michael Blum is a true professional and a kind,caring attorney. Arson was committed on my son's car which was verified by the fire department. The insurance company removed the car and kept it for 3 months, while my son continued making the monthly payments. Only once Michael advised that he was filing suit, did the company issue a check. At all times, Michael stayed in close touch and answered all of our questions and did so on a pro se basis.
I contacted the office and spoke with Priscilla. She was kind, informative and energetic. She was able to explain the process and was very calming.
They answer calls and emails but I feel like my lawyer tricked me even tho they take 30 percent I've calculated all me fees we did together so he emailed me my in pocket payout everything was ok till he the day I supposed to receive my check when I get there to receive my check it was different amount way lesser so I feel like they stole money or just lied that's very un professional because if you already calculated my payout why would change it so when I talked to him he said it came out different and he couldn't change it
If I could give less than a 1-star I would 😔. It's been almost 3 years on accident case. I had attorney Allen Gressett of whom I have spoken to only twice throughout the entire case. The paralegal was horrible, dishonest and would constantly misconstrue conversations I had with her. I stopped talking and started putting it all in writing. The settlement team was equally as bad, the communication was absolutely horrible. They would never communicate until I called asking questions, then I would be ran in circles because they did not have answers. They dropped the ball on my case several times, missed important details and allowed over billing by their MoveDocs team and told me they did not have visibility into bills that I were to pay out of my lawsuit that were paid in advance. How can I re-pay a bill that I am not allowed to see the details of? One example is a charge for almost $800 for a standard doctors office visit. There was also double billing to me and my personal insurance
Hiring this firm for my accident case was the biggest mistake I've made!! I have logs of phone calls, texts, and emails they never answered. The staff was rude and unprofessional when they did return a call. Initially I was to pay 33% to this firm but they charged me 40%. And we settled OUT OF COURT! When we settled, they received my check and held it for 2 weeks before notifying me. I had to keep calling repeatedly to get them to meet with me to get it. When I got it, they informed me that they took their money out first. $70,000!!! They said that then they paid the medical and personal leins! They only paid partial amts of the leins tho. Leaving me to still owe money after this lawsuit. I got a check for $11,000. Remember now, they got $70,000! All I asked was for medical paid and to replace my vehicle. I got no compensation for the vehicles nor enough to go buy a replacement. I still owe money on leins, need surgery, and no vehicle. Do your research on this firm BEFORE you hire them
My case dragged on for over a year and getting a hold of these "people"is ridiculous. Front desk people are rude, and the attorneys could care less about a clients well being and now I am being dumped because of the over nonsense. Avoid these people, I was hit by a car and now left hurting for the rest of my life.May god help you all.
