About Christina Guyton

Christina Guyton is an associate in the Memphis office of Lewis Thomason. Christina has an illustrious background. She attended The University of Alabama: Honors College obtaining her Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Information Sciences, magna cum laude, majoring in Public Relations and Dance. At The University of Alabama, Christina excelled academically being named a College of Arts and Sciences’ Outstanding Sophomore and receiving various academic grants in her role as Co-Director of the Dance Alabama! Film Festival. As a Dance major, she performed onstage in many dance concerts and participated in various professional dance intensives across the country. As a Public Relations major, she wrote for the department’s Platform Magazine and served as an Account Executive for the department’s Campaigns Course. While attending The University of Memphis: Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, Christina expanded her legal experience as a Judicial Intern for the Tennessee Court of Appeals in Jackson, Tennessee. She received various academic awards, including the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Bar Exam Writing Fundamentals, the Memphis Law Review Faculty Advisor Award for Student Note Excellence, and the Top 10 Oral Advocate Award for the First Year Moot Court Competition. In addition, Christina was selected for publication in Volume 79 of the peer-reviewed Food and Drug Law Journal for her Note entitled Too Many Cooks in the Kitchen-How the Proposed Consolidation of the Overlapping Governmental Agencies Tasked with Pesticide Regulation is Deficient in Resolving Food-Safety Concerns.

When not in the office, Christina, a native Memphian, still dances and enjoys yoga, cooking, and traveling.
